Four seniors awarded the Labouisse ’26 Prize Fellowship, USG Senate convenes, continuing advocacy after the pandemic

Todays Briefing: 

Four seniors, Chisom Ilogu ’21, Sarah Kamanzi ’21, Leopoldo Solis ’21, and Lydia Spencer ’21 have been awarded the Henry Richardson Labouisse ’26 Prize Fellowship, administered by the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS). Winners are granted $30,000 to pursue their own international civic engagement projects in the year following graduation.

At the most recent Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate meeting, plans to renovate Dillon Gymnasium were discussed. Improvements, such as an additional entrance on Elm Drive and outdoor court space, will aim to improve accessibility to facilities. The Senate also unanimously approved a $1700 funding request for diSiac dance company’s virtual spring showcase. Finally, seven new student groups were approved by the Student Groups Recognition Committee (SGRC). Read more about the clubs here.
