USG Senate discusses budget and task forces, CPUC addresses vaccinations and racial equity

Today’s Briefing: 

The Undergraduate Student Government Senate met to discuss their budget, including how their $214,481.77 surplus may be used going forward. In addition, two new task forces were approved: The Technology Task Force and The Dining and Nutrition Task Force. Twenty-two non-voting members were added to the Senate with the creation of a new Athletics Liaison position. Finally, the Asian Student Athletes of Princeton, the Coptic Society, and the Polyglot Society were new student groups granted recognition and approval.

President Eisgruber, along with other members of the administration, discussed the updates on COVID-19 vaccinations at Princeton, the addition of more dietary options at the dining halls, the potential for more in-person courses and labs, and the initiatives to further racial equity on campus.
