In an unprecedented move Thursday morning, the Ivy League Council of Presidents voted to grant current senior student-athletes an extra year of competitive eligibility if they are accepted to, and enroll at, the graduate school of their current institution. However, the Council of Presidents emphasized that the waiver is temporary and only due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After it expires, the Ivy League schools will remain some of the only institutions of higher education that do not allow graduate students to play sports.

The Pyne Prize, regarded as the highest distinction that can be achieved by an undergraduate, has been awarded to Paige Allen ’21, Amy Jeon ’21, and James Packman ’21. According to its announcement, the University is looking into how the award winners could be celebrated in the Princeton community.
