A 4,063-mile commute: Visiting Professor Gianni Riotta, who is teaching a course on 20th century Italian litererature called "Writing Italian Style," travels each week from Milan to Princeton and back. In Milan, Riotta serves as vice director of the daily newspaper Coriere della Sera.
