It might make sense to think that the dance floor between two battling crews is a gender-neutral space. At the very least, every dancer is compelled into a uniformly masculine identity in this male-dominated form of dance. However, that hasn’t been my experience.

The future location of the University’s dance community remains uncertain following the recent abandonment of the University’s proposed Arts and Transit Neighborhood.

One almost does not know where to begin when critiquing a show that features zombies, dentists and robots like diSiac Dance Company’s fall show, “Flux.”

Students walking through the Rockefeller College common room Monday night were greeted with an unfamiliar scene: A flash mob of roughly 40 students, accompanied by live rhythmic drumming and recorded music, swirled and swarmed around the room for 20 minutes.
