| November 15, 2010The men’s cross country team could have fallen short at this weekend’s NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet and still boast phenomenal improvements over last year. The women’s team could have run poorly at their meet and still have a record-breaking year. -
One year ago, the men’s cross country team finished 10th at the Notre Dame Invitational. Then-sophomore Brian Leung led the Tiger pack with a sixth-place finish, and classmate Donn Cabral followed him, finishing 39th. The Tigers considered the results a good forecast for the championship season. -

| September 16, 2010Although students are just now crawling wearily into lecture halls and seminar rooms, the men’s and women’s cross country teams have already gained momentum for their respective seasons. Stocked with both collegiate veterans and fresh talents, the two teams kicked off their seasons at last Saturday’s Spiked Shoe Invitational in University Park, Pa., where the men took first and the women came in second. Despite an intense schedule, both coaches and athletes are feeling optimistic, with strong starts to their seasons.
