    According to the Academic Life Total Assessment Survey, students cite the Office of the Registrar/SCORE course evaluations as one of their most important resources when making course choices. The Editorial Board believes that these evaluations, however, are less accessible, thorough and reliable than they should be, given the weight students give to these evaluations as part of their academic planning.

    Because the course evaluations are University-sponsored and must be filled out (or at the very least, declined) before a student can see the prior semester’s grades on SCORE, the data they yield is far more comprehensive. Hence, it is important that the registrar make course evaluations as informative and useful as possible.
