Slideshow: Former U. President Robert Goheen '40 1919-2008
Former University President Robert Goheen '40 died of heart failure Monday morning at University Medical Center. He was 88. Goheen, who led the University from 1957 to 1972, oversaw dramatic changes in University operations and policy, including in the largest campus expansion in University history, the quadrupling of the annual budget and the introduction of coeducation.
