Following two exciting victories against Harvard, the baseball team (9-22, 5-7 Ivy) faced Penn (18-14, 8-4) in a four-match series at Meiklejohn Stadium in Philadelphia last Saturday and Sunday to kick off Gehrig Division play.

While the men lost both of their matches in their first round of Ivy League competition, the women were able to pull out a win against the Lions after a loss to the Big Red, coming to stand 2-1 in the Ivy League.

The women’s water polo team (16-2) had an eventful spring break, claiming two victories in a three-game series in California following the successful Roadrunner Invitational. The team faced Pomona-Pitzer (8-16), No. 16 Long Beach Island (11-9), and No. 1 USC (22-0) on their mid-week road trip along the West Coast that concluded with conclusive wins over Pomona-Pitzer and Long Beach State.

To top a historic season, the men's basketball team (23-6, 16-0 Ivy League) just concluded a victorious weekend at the Palestra in Philadelphia at the first annual Ivy League tournament. The team is now advancing to the NCAA's 2017 Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. The Tigers are the No. 12 seed on the official bracket of the West region in the national tournament, scheduled to face off against No. 5 seed Notre Dame (25-9) for the first round of March Madness. The game will be played on March 16 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

The men’s squash team concluded its season this past weekend at the College Squash Association Individual Championships at Dartmouth College, sending four athletes to compete for individual titles and All-America honors.

The women’s squash team concluded its 2016-17 season at the College Squash Association Individual Championships this past weekend, March 3-5, at Dartmouth College. Princeton sent nine athletes to participate in one of the five draws of the tournament: Holleran North, Holleran South, Holleran East, Holleran West, and the Ramsay Cup. The last, Ramsay Cup, is the top draw of the individual championships. Junior Olivia Fiechter was the only Tiger to qualify for this draw, and is therefore guaranteed All-American honors. Senior Alexandra Toth made the longest run of the tournament, however, reaching the finals of the Holleran North draw on Sunday.

The women’s squash team (12-5, 5-2 Ivy League) competed in the CSA Howe Cup national team championships this past weekend, Feb. 24-26, at the Jadwin squash courts. The Tigers picked up an early victory against fifth-ranked Yale (12-6, 4-3) on Friday but faced disappointing defeats the two following days against top-ranked Harvard (15-0, 7-0) and third-ranked Trinity (15-3). Princeton ended the weekend by taking fourth place.

The Princeton Women’s Water Polo team advanced its winning streak to 6-0 with victories over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, St. Francis-Brooklyn, and George Washington University in the Bison Invitational this past weekend, Feb. 11 and 12, at the Kinney Natatorium.

A junior in the Woodrow Wilson School, Carrington Akosa is a sprinter on the men’s track and field team and the reigning indoor Ivy League champion in the 200-meter dash and outdoor champion in the 4x100 relay. He was also selected to be the Ivy Heps Most Outstanding Field Performer for winter 2016. This year, Akosa has already made a statement in the first two meets of the 2016 indoor season with multiple wins and a school record in the 60m dash, but nonetheless took time to sit down with The Daily Princetonian to chat about life both on and off the track.

The men’s track and field team opened their indoor season with a bang, winning ten events at the Metro Holiday Meet on Friday in Staten Island. The women also impressed on Friday with six wins and six personal records.

The men’s cross country team finished in third at the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State this past Friday just missing a qualifying position for the NCAA Championships. The fall season concluded after the same race on the women’s side after an eighth-place finish.

The men and women’s track and field teams are scheduled to kick off the indoor winter season on Dec. 2 at the Metro Holiday Meet in Staten Island. While the men are aiming to tackle long-time rival Cornell for the Ivy League title, the women are ready to take on the Ivy League, armed with an entirely new coaching staff and the return of two accomplished athletes.

Over a month into the season, Princeton's own men's club ice hockey team has sustained an impeccable start to the season. Prior to this weekend, the team had not lost a single game after facing 10 unique opponents. Though the Tigers suffered a 2-6 defeat to TCNJ this weekend, the club's success so far is undeniable.
