The team was hoping for a top-three finish at Heps but tied for fourth with Cornell, behind Columbia. The team connected well and seemed to finally begin to turn their shot attempts into points on the board. The first goal came off of an unassisted breakaway from freshman forward Carly Bullock, giving Princeton an early lead at 4:35 of the first period. Senior forward Molly Contini scored the next goal and sophomore forward Karlie Lund netted back-to-back shots to give Princeton a 4-0 lead in the second period.
