What kind of time commitment is the 'Prince'?
Time commitments vary between departments. In our news department, our incoming writers are expected to spend one afternoon and one evening a week at the 'Prince'.
The news department is probably the most time-intensive department. Layout staffers, for instance, will probably start at one night per week, and opinions writers write once every two weeks.
How can I find out more?
First, download our overview document, Why Should You Join The 'Prince'? to learn about our different departments. We will be holding open houses on Sept. 18, 19 and 20 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the newsroom at 48 University Place, two doors down from the U-Store.
You can also send us a message so we can put you on our email list. Let us know what department you're interested in.
Or just stop by our newsroom any time Sunday through Thursday between 2 and 10pm.
Where is the 'Prince' located?
We're located at the newly renovated 48 University Place, the brick building two buildings downhill from the U-Store.
