News & Notes: Student hit by golf cart, taken to hospital

A student sustained a knee injury after he was hit by a golf cart on a sidewalk near the Friend Center at1:27 p.m. this afternoon, according to University spokesperson Martin Mbugua.

The Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad transported the student to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Students are allowed to rent golf carts from University Health Services as part of the Medical Transport Vehicle Rental Program.
