Susan Patton ’77 allegedly pursued her first husband — Steve Jaffe, an advertising executive at an agency she worked at — while he was still married, the Daily Mail reports.

Patton has previously declined to comment on her marital history besides stating that she is divorced with two sons. A source told the Daily Mail that Patton said that she was going to marry Jaffe during lunchon her first day on the job. She was hired as an account executive at the company in the 1980s.Patton then apparently pursued Jaffe for several years before he divorced his first wife and married Patton when she was 31. The couple recently divorced.

Jaffe founded and now runs his own advertising firm Jaffe & Partners, Inc. On his LinkedIn page, Jaffe's education is listed as “A school with No Name Recognition,” a term that Patton has frequently used to describe her husband's alma mater.

Patton is known for her letter to the editor of The Daily Princetonian, in which she argued that women should try to find a husband in college.
