News & Notes: Small World Coffee celebrates 20 years in town

Small World Coffee, the popular coffee shop with two locations on Nassau and Witherspoon streets, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its move to Princeton on Dec. 22, 2013, according to The Times of Trenton.

The celebration will include live food and music. According to Small World co-owner Jessica Durrie, many of the 1,400 employees who have worked at the coffee shop in the past have begun to post supportive comments about their experiences at the shop on Facebook.

Durrie told The Times of Trenton that while she had initially thought Princeton was too small of a town to support her coffee shop, she had underestimated the volume of business coming from the tri-state area.

Since moving to Princeton in 1993, Small World Coffee has grown both in the number of locations it offers and in popularity with the locals.
