Hi everyone!

I became a Prince columnist in the spring of my junior year, and my pieces generally fall under the umbrella of "humor." I think my writing style is best summarized by this online comment:  "Brandon, the point behind your columns is generally good, but I hate to say that your writing generally sucks.  Try to cut out 20% of your words and not take yourself so seriously.  Its funny that you take 'not being serious' a little too seriously."  Thanks, "Alum '08"!  It's funny that you don't take apostrophes seriously.

I'm very involved in campus theater as an actor, writer, and director (especially as a composer and lyricist for the Triangle Club), so the Prince isn't my main extracurricular activity.  As one of my editors once told me, "Brandon, I'm glad you view writing for the Prince as a waste of your time, because I know as long as that's true you'll continue to do it regularly."
