The men’s hockey team opened 2013 with a bang, leaping into second place in the ECAC with home victories over Harvard and Dartmouth. On Friday, the Tigers beat Harvard 3-2 thanks to a hat trick from junior forward Andrew Calof, including the game-winner 58 seconds into overtime. The following day, senior goaltender Mike Condon made 34 saves as Princeton upended No. 8 Dartmouth 2-1 on Baker Rink’s 90th anniversary. The Tigers now have a 4-3-3 record in ECAC play, good for 11 points, nine behind Quinnipiac but two clear of everyone else.
