Regarding “Scalia defends gay rights position” (Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012)
It may be risky, but I’m going to say it anyway: This article was one of the most biased and disappointing stories I’ve ever read. It’s not ...

So don't go home...there's plenty to do during intersession. I live in NJ and I don't return home.
As a finaid student from CA who doesn't go home except for winter break, I've got to say I really like our schedule. Sure, it would be great if Thanksgiving were a little longer from a rest and relaxation perspective, but even if it were a week, am I really going to go home? Thanksgiving is much closer to winter break than interession is.
After spending 2 intersessions on or around campus, I can't really imagine going home for one. There's lots to do (if you can avoid the flu) to get set for second semester or unwind from finals (I try to read a book or two) and it's a nice time to go on an extracurricular trip. Hopefully you'll get a chance to experience something equally awesome this year.
Why is a freshman writing an op-ed on something she hasn't even experienced yet? Save it, Lea, until you've actually gone through Princeton's calendar for a complete year.
Also a Californian on financial aid, I think our schedule is great. Thanksgiving I can spend with my friends who live on the East Coast, winter break I can see my family and friends back home, and intersession gives me a chance to vacation with friends/just relax after finals. What's the need to go back home during intersession when you were just there less than a month ago?
