    Engaging in an affair and possibly leaking classified information while director of the CIA is so shockingly poor a decision that it demands immediate firing and perhaps jail time.

    With regards to Clinton:

    "His presidency is beyond resuscitation. He can compound his disgrace by clinging to office, heedless of damage done to the national interest abroad or the tone of civic life."

    Don't see what the article you posted has to do with anything. Judge David's work and arguments on their own merits.

    Engaging in an affair when you are the director of the CIA compromises you, because there is always the possibility that the woman you are having an affair with is at worst a covert operative of another nation or even just leaking information period. It's a compromise of security, and that's why he resigned. End of story. This article was a bore, and it appears that half the comments here were written by the author himself.
