News & Notes: Urban Outfitters will open on Dec. 6

The Urban Outfitters under construction at 42 Nassau St. will open on Dec. 6, according to the Princeton Patch. Previous job postings for the clothing store said it would open in December but did not specify a date.

The store will open in the storefront that previously housed part of Talbots, which now has a smaller store next door.

Urban Outfitters was granted permission to remove Talbots' red front door and lighting after receiving approval from Princeton’s Historic Preservation Plan Review, according to the Patch.

Once the Princeton location opens in two weeks, every Ivy League school will have an Urban Outfitters store near its campus.
