"Professors’ on-campus and off-campus commitments often compete for their time, but perhaps none as significantly as with Krugman"
Wole Soboyejo might give Krugman a run for his money. The man spends more time in Africa than in Princeton, it seems like.
Now we know why Krugman writes the same column every time - he craps it out two hours before deadline.
(Also, great article! This must have taken a lot of work, and I think it came together really well.)
"“Just look at my office, you don’t want me to be administering anything,” he said." Such an interesting and insightful look into such an important man! Great article, Monica!
Paul should be a candidate for the PU President Search Committee! As always GREAT article Monica!
Awesome article, took a freshman seminar with dude and article is right on.

One sentence paragraphs will be the death of me.
The guy's a total partisan blowhard, Nobel Prize or not. His columns are 'motivated thinking' at its worst. President of the university? Give me a break.
Calling Krugman a professor does a disservice to all academics.
His official University web page is notably non-existent: http://www.princeton.edu/~pkrugman/
His unofficial academic web page has not been updated for over two years: http://www.pkarchive.org
In other words, give me a f@#king break!
