Tuesday update: On campus for Sandy? Here's the latest

Tentatively open: As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, CVS on Nassau Street was open. Olives, PJ's Pancake House, Small World Coffee, Winberie's, Zorba’s, Iano's, Mezzaluna, Alchemist & Barrister, Teresa's, Massimo’s, Mehek and Qdoba were open. Olives, PJ’s and Mehek are only accepting cash. According to its Twitter feed, Hoagie Haven is open. Chase and Bank of America had open ATMs.

Closed: Wawa is closed. The University, Princeton University Store, Labyrinth Books and Landau’s are closed. Panera Bread, Twist, Subway, Starbucks and Fruity Yogurt are closed. PNC Bank is closed.

The New Jersey Transit system-wide shutdown of all services is still in effect. This includes the Northeast Corridor line that stops at Princeton Junction and runs between Trenton and Penn Station in New York. N.J. Transit buses are not running. Princeton Borough and Township municipal offices are also closed. Penn Station is still closed.

Food: Rockefeller College dining hall is open for meals.

Electricity: Thousands of Borough and Township residents are without power, including the Stanworth and Butler apartments, which house graduate students. The Lawrence apartments and the Forrestal Campus also don't have power. The University campus briefly lost electricity last night, but it is now running on backup power from the cogeneration plant.
