News & Notes: USG interviews 12 for committee representatives

The USG has offered 12 students interviews for the two undergraduate slots on the search committee tasked to replace retiring University President Shirley Tilghman. According to USG president Bruce Easop ’13, 48 students applied for the two positions.
Interviews with the 12 students began Tuesday and continue through today. The two students will join nine trustees, four professors, a staff member and a graduate student on the search committee, which is scheduled to meet for the first time on Saturday, Oct. 20.
