Tomorrow's Edition: A Michele Obama presidency? Michelle Obama '85 recently promised to return to campus! Could this be a sign that she would take the position?

@AH Why is it absurd that he might be interested? I think he'd be a great leader for our campus and there's no doubt that he loves our University.

RM, you've graduated and have another school to antagonize. Enough.

The Prince, ever loyal to the Street and all things conservative, thinks that an Ivy Club talk qualifies the General to be our next University President. The idea stinks. Has he ever taught a class on a topic other than killing? Does he know how to raise money from alumni? Can he attract lively, promising faculty? Will he guard the health of the library, the computer system, the buildings and grounds? Is he sympathetic to the progress we've made on diversity and inclusion? Will he use the appointment to further his political ambitions? Check out the precedent of Eisenhower at Columbia: in his 5-year tenure, he was mostly on a plane, going somewhere else.
