Disappointing that so many are going into investment banking and finance.
Well, probably like many others who have jobs now.
what is wrong or disappointing about young people going into a decent paying profession (especially for liberal arts grads) and learning tangible business skills like financial modeling and accounting?
Nice to see that most of the athletes, as typical, are heading to Wall Street. They have not given up on an industry that has so much to offer in so many ways, despite the Wall Street bashing, much of it deserved, of recent years. There is still much to be admired about the U.S. financial services sector, despite the sins of a very small subset of its operatives.
HEADLINE should have read "Some" athletes. Douglas Davis? Swimmers? Squash players? Rowers? etc. Talk about concentrating of only a few of the sports.
where's donn cabral in this?
for the record, he is competing in the olympics and running professionally for nike.
