    As a woman here in the Seventies, thank you, Nikki--I also recall those strange sudden silences, not to mention the way Princeton took forever to install enough women's toilets, the way Old Guard alums would materialize and say loudly, "I can't get used to GIRLS at PRINCETON," and the flagstone at the entrance to the Tiger Grill at the Princeton Club in NY, which said, "Where women cease from troubling, and the wicked are at rest." Eventually they put carpeting over it, but I bet it's still under there.

    Wouldn't it be amusing if those WERE the hours Nikki had performed on Friday? I believe it was more like 10pm and onward...

    Oh my gosh! I can't believe I missed Nikki at reunions!! I hope she's there again next year.
