Interesting comments. I would hope she developed into a better student at Princeton than as an "actress". Much to be desired on that score. She isn't in the league of real Princeton celebrities in fields that really "give back".
She went to Princeton? Who is she anyway?
What a nice little interview. Good ol' Brooke Shields, Princeton alum!
Whoa, Lorenzo!
Brooke Shields is my hero, if for no other reason than this finely worded, polite but ruthless defense of women suffering post-partum depression:

She's the real deal -- not just some ornamental entertainer.
What a down to earth interview. She sounds like any other Princeton student, and one of the more thoughtful ones at that. I empathize with how exceptionally daunting bicker must have felt for her. I can't imagine Id feel comfortable if everyone had memorized me naked in "Blue Lagoon"….
To get some perspective, Brooke Shields (before she went to college) was a very hot property . . . kind of like Kristen Stewart and Snookie and Taylor Swift all combined. When there were only 3 Networks, her appearance on a TV show or as a subject of mindless tv-magazine "special" was a guarantee of ratings. She was not the greatest actress but she was a personality/face of renown and was truly a master of her domain.
.
It was a very big decision for her to go to Princeton and do the same work everyone else did. It demarcated her career from the Calvin Klein-Blue Lagoon-Endless Love period and made her ready for her success on "Suddenly Susan," and more importantly, in her life.
.
She was smart enough to realize that her success as a teen prepared her for nothing. We can choose to believe that her work as an undergraduate at Princeton, helped her grow as an adult.
