Smiling at strangers

    Cute. Funny how freshman fall seems somewhat normal when you're in the middle of it all, but later seems ridiculous. I walked around campus with my Princeton lanyard around my neck until an upperclassman took me aside and gave me a heads up. Good times.

    This was cute, and I agree with piecewise above...people were so friendly back then. Of course, now they've disintegrated into social climbing & somewhat hostile beings, but that's a story for later. Usually I detest columns written by freshmen (other than the marvelous SS'15, of course) but this brought back so many memories that I couldn't help but smile. Cute and well done.

    Great article. Many share these sentiments, and it is a bit sad that we have normalized such a state of interpersonal interactions.

    I related to this in many ways. Well done, and I'm glad you're comfortable to acknowledge you've found your niche. I'm glad I am, too.
