Proud of you Yoel. I know you work hard to do good things in our world. Keep fighting.
Ha! Thanks for the laugh
New referendum: Work a deal to make Sabra the only hummus provided by University agencies, just to show what happens when you submit referenda on idiotic things :P
If you oppose to Israel's existence because you think it's an illegal entity than I will object your opinion, but at least I will respect you for having a coherent opinion.
However the logic around the Hummus is in a "weirdo league" of its own. Any self-respecting Israeli company adopts a military unit. In Israeli eyes, this is the dignified way of carrying yourself. Israelis view their army as the only barrier preventing the assured murder of them and their families.
The fact that one Hummus-making company has adopted one specific infantry brigade, or the fact that several men from that brigade were tried for improper behavior under fire does NOT constitute a valid line of responsibility. Similarly, I should boycott Coca Cola for the crimes of a few US soldiers in the Abu Ghraib prison.
Why is Stu Orefice not just listening to the referendum? Students have decided in a landslide that we don't need alternative hummus. Why does Dining Services feel the need to keep thinking about it?
Before the Nazis decided to murder European Jewry in gas chambers, they considered the Madagascar Plan - a plan to move four million Jews from Europe to the island of Madagascar.
Whose idea was it?
Like almost all Nazi ideas, someone else came up with the idea first. As early as 1885, Paul de Lagarde suggested deporting Eastern European Jews to Madagascar. In 1926 and 1927, Poland and Japan each investigated the possibility of using Madagascar for solving their over-population problems.
Yes! Whenever anyone complains about a few Palestinians getting killed, or a few million getting starved by Israeli blockades-- just change the subject to Madagascar in 1885.
But that's not enough. Princeton must now pass a resolution declaring that any Palestinians rights advocacy is considered grounds for prosecution and immediate expulsion.
But wait-- even that isn't enough to make up for Madagascar in 1885, so stay tuned for more demands as soon as Israel can think of them.
Dear Mr. B.O.I.Apartheid,
With such brain-dead demagogy and over-generalization, it is difficult to take you seriously. Not even one Palestinian is starved, yet you claim millions. Hardly surprising. We give pro-palestinians the freedom to stretch the truth in any way imaginable, so why should you act differently?
We Israelis would LOVE to give the Palestinians a right and fair solution! It just so happen to be that they want us dead (read the polls made in the PA! Do your homework!).
The polls also say that more than 80% of Israelis would like a territorial compromise and a stable peace agreement (me included!).
Now tell me please, how can you have a stable Peace agreement with a nation torn by violent armed militias who are often killing each other and where no central government is in sight?
Like some BBC expert explained; "we will never stabilize the palestinian side, so the terror will continue to hit the Israelis- nothing could be done about that! But at least we should give peace to the Palestinian side!"
Why, exactly, are we politicizing a mixture of chickpeas, oil, and garlic?
Gulliver's Travels anyone?
From bbb:
"Now tell me please, how can you have a stable Peace agreement with a nation torn by violent armed militias who are often killing each other and where no central government is in sight?"
bbb, that is a sideshow. As long as the other side is using the Quran as its playbook there is no chance of a true, lasting peace.
