another primetime news anchor to inspire us with the news they have reported for oh so many years.
I was hoping for SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE SOMETHING TO address our class before graduation, but simply being on T.V. night in and night out clearly counts as an coomplishment in and of itself.
What are you talking about - Charlie Gibson is class act! No pun intended!!!
I love him
you misspelled disappointed. gibson's a well-respected journalist and an alum, so shut up and don't go.
and what the hell have YOU done!!?? first try being a national newsanchor for a year and then decide for yourself if it's "nothing."
I am psyched about this...love Charlie Gibson.
fired up for Becca and Zach. Quipfire RESPECKT
cool. Charlie Gibson is solid. yeah 10
"and what the hell have YOU done!!??"
Disappointed may not have done much, but he/she's also not the Class Day speaker...
Hey, in a down economy, it probably helped that he'll talk for free (as a Trustee), as opposed to Clinton, who demanded (and got) a huger appearance fee.
That is just not true. Clinton was not paid.
The trouble is that the school will never pay the speaker, will never give an honorary degree, and worst of all this year -- it falls on a national holiday.
That being said, Gibson is great!
