Female Athlete of the Year: Aemisegger starred from day one

Nearly four years ago, Alicia Aemisegger arrived on campus as one of the most highly touted recruits in the history of the Princeton swimming and diving program. To say the least, she lived up to the billing.

    Alicia's most impressive accomplishments: She is always humble, super supportive, funny, kind, a serious student oh and by the way, the best female swimmer to ever represent Princeton. We love you Alicia!!!

    AA has been super in the pool, but a good journalist might also have mentioned her academic major, her plans for the future, and her countless weekend trips back to Philly to continue training with her coach, for extra yardage and tutelage.
    We do call them "student-athletes" you know!
    But none of these criticisms of the article should detract from the fact that Alicia has been simply amazing, and will be sorely missed.

    Someone with her abilities, dedication, and personality comes along very rarely.

    Best of luck to her in her future, wherever that may lead.
