    Great article!

    Space Monkey, you seem to forget that Penn sucks (in lax as in life).

    Would have liked to see Princeton vs. Yale football in November: the last home game of the season, a great crowd of alums, a decent number of Yale fans, and a thrilling upset that gave us both hoarse voices and gloating rights. Sure, the very end wasn't as exciting as some of those other games, but the fourth quarter was incredible for football fans and non-football fans alike.

    every mens lacrosse game should have made the top ten list. No other team on this campus matters except the men's lacrosse team. They are the only team that competes every year at the highest level and for a national championship. They run Princeton.

    @07alum-

    Strange, how so many lax folks seem to have this sense of privilege and entitlement. "They run Princeton"? Give me a break. Fewer than 300 D-1 schools even offer lacrosse, And without the admissions help from Dean Hargadon (who never met an athlete or a blond woman he didn't admit), Tierney would have had a much tougher time.
    But you need to look at a few of the other teams on campus, including Women's Cross Country, Women's basketball, both swimming, squash, as examples.
    And every team "matters" to those who participate in that sport.
    Don't get me wrong-- I like lax. But they don't "run Princeton" or Princeton sports for me. Even if some of them act like they think they do.
