    President Shapiro was a great president at Princeton. Not taking anything away from the current leadership, but he took over a very strong institution and made it that much stronger, leaving it in solid financial shape and with an excellent sense of itself. And although he may not have been the most gregarious person in the world, President Shapiro was someone who paid attention and made smart choices, which is why he was rarely criticized for actual outcomes. I'm glad to hear he continues to be doing well.
