    Great: bargain those workers higher wages, then watch them get laid off when their marginal product falls below their wage.

    why is it that decency and fairness to the people who uphold the dinner table for the well-to-do never get mentioned at the banquet? not in the 70's (anti-

    People willingly choose to work a given job at given wage. Then they decide they want more money/benefits and demand that the employer give it to them. And the employer is the one who is greedy and selfish.

    If you feel bad for "workers", feel free to hand them some of your own money. But that takes a nobility that is more than superficial, unlike these conspicuous and pointless "protests".

    may you never be put in a position where you have to "choose" a job
    where the employing company decides that screwing you economically,
    morally, and politically is an effect money-saving tactic.
    it's NOT fun.
