Neuroscience and psychology complex construction to start

Construction of the new neuroscience and psychology buildings will begin later this month, after financial concerns previously stalled the start of the projects, the University announced on Wednesday, March 17.

    This ... is...breaking...news? That warrants immediate publication in the Prince, even though most of the campus is off on Spring Break?

    Well, at least the author had the decency not to use the exceedingly overused phrase "state of the art" in describing the building. Unfortunately, the Office of Communications continues to use the phrase. Every time a new building is unveiled.

    P.S. I haven't a clue what Aztec means with the comment "sick." These kids today,what with their Tweeting and Spacebooks. [sic]

    Administration cancels hiring plans, lays off faculty/staff, raises tuition, increases cost of on campus housing. How about foundation of affordable education.

    This is wonderful news. The University is right to move ahead with the construction--neuroscience is science's next frontier.

    The fact that the psychology building is to be called a complex makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
