Kudos to campus security for not interrupting their donut time to direct traffic--it only took me 40 mins. to get from Rt. 1 and Washington Road to West Garage!

Thank you, PSafety, for issuing a PTENS alert about this but not the bomb threat.

    Thanks.

P '10. I'm sure all the undergrads would be FINE with not having any heat, light, or hot water for well over 24 hours before the university let you know of their relief efforts. You wouldn't have complained at all, right? And you would never expect the university to let you know about their relief efforts by text (when all the wireless servers were out and you couldn't check your email).

As for the wisdom of not announcing the bomb threat, that's a separate matter. But don't begrudge us our notice.

@ Anonymous: Rt. 1 and Washington Road is not within PSafety's jurisdiction. You want them to stop eating donuts and do something illegal?

True, but the point of the traffic jam that was stacking cars up to Rte 1 / Wash rd, the intersection of Washington and Faculty, is in PSafety's jurisdiction

For caddy-corner, cater-corner, kitty-corner and other variants, see that linguistic masterwork The Dictionary of American Regional English: http://dare.wisc.edu/
