COMPANY is one of my favorite musicals. I'm glad to know it was effective with this college production. It was performed while I attended Temple University, and it was a fantastic production there too. I saw the revival on Broadway that you talk about in the beginning of this article. It was a wonderful production and the cast recording is great.
I just interviewed music director Lynne Shankel, who worked with Raul Esparza on COMPANY and numerous other times. She described what it was like to work with him and arrange songs for him.
