I've always 'drawn' my graphs/charts so far, it's just that yesterday I felt doing it by photoshop would be neater. And actually I do drawings too, though for some reason when I'm thinking about my cartoon I often end up with some kind of graph. Don't know why.

and the form matters, even if it's just different sizes fonts; graphic design is close enough to a comic.
For what it's worth, I liked this cartoon.
