Chomsky seems to be still living in the '60s, seeing The Man Keeping Us Down everywhere.
What a stunningly ignorant comment. I can't wait for more!

"People have no right to be disillusioned with Obama. There was no basis for disillusionment"

Why should anyone care about a linguist's politics?
Noam Chomsky, did not realize he was out there giving lectures to students. Kinda of Nice he is, so that students can see what passes for an intellectual of the left. What a loser, he should just go hang out with S. Penn in cuba.
mark tillar: 1) reread what you wrote, 2) recognize that cuba has delicious food and music, two things old people love, 3) chillllll, bra. chomsky is a beast and his beastliness was on full 81-year old display last night.
noam chomsky is one of the most cited scholars in the world, not to mention probably wrote more books on history and politics than most of the faculty in Princeton; quantity isn't the only measure of someone but to the guy who asks why we should care about a linguist's views, he's also a historian and a political scientist in his own right given his volume of work.
