LaChance attributed Cloister’s successful second round to recruiting students “outside of the traditional groups associated with Cloister.”

Cloister is floaters, boaters, and hosees. Who are the new people?

Tower is in that sweet spot where it's actually selective and elitist, but hasn't yet acquired a reputation for being so, like Ivy and Cottage. So people can bicker there for the exclusivity but maintain plausible deniability for being social climbers. Looks like many took advantage of the opportunity.

Someone ought to total all those who bickered or simply signed in to sign in clubs, so we can see just how popular Dean Nancy's four year residential colleges are now. Sure seems to me that lots of students are eager to find somewhere else to eat and party (and drink), even if that means they won't get all those freebies with college logos on them!

    They're Tilghman and Rapeleye's 4-year colleges more than Malkiel's, I think.

But you're right, there is almost no way to replace alcohol on a free secular campus.
