I'm confused. What is it that Claros values about marriage? It would seem that the heteronormative view -- marriage as a compact between a man and a women for the good and purpose of procreation and family life -- is what "social conservatives" support, is it not?

Conservative homosexual is like nazi jew

This seems contradictory to me, because I would argue that American conservatism is grounded in homophobia.

“I think that it’s unfortunate that a certain kind of animosity has developed between the LGBT community and the Anscombe Society. And I think it’s really sad that people see them as the antithesis of each other.” Yes, that is a problem. Maybe there would be less animosity if Anscombe were more even-handed in their attacks on campus "promiscuity" -- i.e. spending as much time decrying the ways in which the Prospect Street scene promotes a so-called "hookup culture" as they do complaining about the nefariousness of the LGBT Center.

i understand that some conservative lgbt students at pton may not feel completely comfortable with the liberal lgbt atmosphere, but this article certainly doesn't explore that very well. even though there are two people interviewed, i'd say this could more accurately described as yujhan's view of pton's lgbt community as a conservative. yujhan's a cool guy, but really prince? this read more like a chronicle of his time on campus and his life as a bi man rather than an encompassing article about conservative lgbt students.

What the ???? are you talking about? They spend most of their time decrying the hook-up culture.

"This seems contradictory to me, because I would argue that American conservatism is grounded in homophobia."

No, it's just that American liberalism is grounded in homophilia.

So presumably he wants to be a chaste virgin, then have a gay marriage? Why not, I guess. It's even somewhat touching.

What's wrong with being straight and conservative?

I think American liberalism is grounded in white-heterosexual-christian-malephobia, assuming we are using the new definition of phobia, which apparently a hatred or dislike rather than a fear.
