    Q: How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?

    A: THAT'S NOT FUNNY!

    Not to mention that dressing up as a "public masturbator" meant putting on a pseudo-Hispanic accent and, with it, an inappropriate lack of respect for personal space. Not only did the Prince's costume suggestion make female students uncomfortable, it brought out racism on campus, too!

    @AC
    if you think sexual assault is just a feminist issue, you're sadly mistaken. it's up to all of us to combat sexual assault and harassment.

    So was Pehl raped? pummelled in the face? were people watching and not intervening while all of this was going on? I feel like the story kept changing every time it was mentioned. Since Pehl seems to be giving permission to share her story, Kwon should be clearer about what actually happened and what the students were told happened in the emails.

    This comment is directed to AC.

    I am sure that we have all taken jabs at large social movements from time to time. (I myself thing those Free Masons are hilarious). However, that is not what this article or SpeakOut is attempting to discuss here.

    AC, please take the time to understand that the events of the article have affected real people. Joking about the feminist movement is very different from joking about attempted assault on specific individuals. By equating them in this forum, you may hurt people who have already been put in an extremely vulnerable place.

    Also, if you feel that SpeakOut is filled with feminist windbags who are making 'too much of nothing' please stop by a SpeakOut meeting. I know that we would love to have you there, and just by being a part of the discussion you could see how sexual violence has affected your peers. By putting faces to voices, you may find a different perspective.

    To all: if you have questions for or concerns about SpeakOut, please just get in touch with the group! Thanks for reading.
