Renew Hughes' contract! Give him 5 years at a 50% increase! This win was monumental!
Well done! You've done what a football team is meant to do! Unfortunately, even bad teams win games and I have to admit that we aren't exactly a good team.
I'm afraid Saturday will be ugly.
While it is always good to win, '98, let's not get carried away with beating another 2-5 team. We've seen this too many times during the Hughes era.
@Concerned: I'm pretty sure '98 was using a literary device known as sarcasm. Despite the rewarding win, Hughes is still hanging by a thread after such an embarrassing season. Hopefully we can pull out a W against Yale and/or Dartmouth and not finish in last place. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure next weekend is going to be a slaughter.
