Given that most Americans mistake Sikhs for muslims/arabs due to the mistaken stereotype of a turban, they fail to relate to a progressive free-spirited hard working 21st century community. The sikh americans like all other americans deserve to live the american dream of freedom and equality and the mistaken identity problem due to lack of awareness exposes them to the biases and attacks. Americans need to know most turban wearers in US are sikhs (and not muslims or arabs) and they believe in ultra-modern american values and fiercely promote the gender equality in India, US and elsewhere. Its time we shed our post-9/11 mistaken biases against turbans and its time we got an education and get to know who the sikhs are. God bless All.

Hey guys, Savraj Singh '03 here! I know most of you, looking forward to meeting all of you. The nearest Gurudwara is in Lawrenceville, http://www.sikhsabha.org. Catch you guys soon! Also, there's an interfaith concert at the Princeton Theological Seminary -- we'll be having some Sikh kirtan there -- it's on November 5th, so I'll see you there!

Well, nothing happens in Princeton, so the Prince is educating us on things we didn't really know about before. Would you rather them write boring shit that isn't even interesting?
