New buildings still unnamed

The new residents have arrived, Studio ’34 is stocked with candy, and the final bricks have been laid. But something is missing from three of the five new buildings in the renovated Butler College: a name.

    Since the new Butler Quad has achieved the same level of architectural sterility as its predecessor, there may be few takers. How about just re-naming the other three buildings for the classes and people (Classes of 1940 and 41, and Lourie-Love) who paid for the original demolished buildings? They deserve to be recognized.

    There is a memorial courtyard and large plaque dedicated to the classes who gave so generously for Old Butler.

    Oh, good, a memorial plaque. How about a BUILDING?!? They beat Nazism. You know, the bad guys from the Indiana Jones movies? If it weren't for Indiana Jones '24, we would all be dead right now.
