How about Alioto? Did he "excel at academics and extra-curriculars? I don't remember the Daily Princetonian weighing in on this point when his SCOTUS nomination was pending before the Senate.

People from Puerto Rico cannot be "immigrants" to NYC, as Puerto Rico is a US territory, and Puerto Ricans are American by birth.

Sotomayor was a radical as an undergrad, just like our commander-in-chief, and just like our first lady. Don't kid yourselves.

why do all these AA admits study such fluff subjects like LatAm studies when you're Hispanic? I doubt Sotomayor was really that good- she probably never took a tough math or science class in HS or at Princeton.
