Crew: Lightweight men claim Ivy League title, EARC championship

Correction appended

All season, no one could catch the men’s lightweight crew team, which posted an unblemished 7-0 regular-season record.

Nothing about this past weekend changed that.

    Congratulations Lightweights!

    A big error in the article however: this is hardly the first EARC title for the Princeton Lightweights. Indeed, Princeton has won the EARC title many times, including twice during my four years rowing at Princeton.

    One quick correction -- the Princeton lightweights have won the EARC Sprints 13 times before this year with wins in '48, '53, '56, '57, '73, '81, '83, '85, '86, '96, '98, '99, and '03. Only Harvard has won the Wright trophy more times than Princeton.

    Good correction on the "first" EARC title in the story. Might want to fix the caption on the photo as well.
