As a patriots fan, I hate any possible improvement to teams within the division. However I think this is a good move for the Bills, their team is trash, and both quarterbacks are on their way out. Thus why not go to semi-desperate measures and snag T.O. and attempt to be a legitimate threat like the Jets and Dolphins.
The Buffalo Bills did a very smart thing this off-season by signing TO. First, this is a guarantee to sell more tickets both in Buffalo and Toronto. Second, Lee Evans is a big time talent with no one else to work with (Roscoe is hit/miss, Josh Reed is a posession receiver and Hardy is doing nothing) so TO will at the very least distract the defenses the Bills face this year. Third, look at TO's track record, he's amazing in the first season w/ a team.
TO's using the Bills to simply showcase his talents so he can snag a final long-term contract from a sucker team. The Bills will not be in that bid, they are just making a little extra dough. $6.5 million is well worth it...
good points! i enjoyed reading. keep it up!!
