Six professors awarded Guggenheim Fellowships

    congrats to all 6, but I am especially excited for Prof. Emerson and Prof. Feeney. I took classes with both of them, and they were definitely two of my favorite classes at Princeton!

    Since Joyce Carol Oates and other Princeton profs. routinely serve on the small committee that awards Guggenheims, it's no surprise that Princeton always gets so many. Deserving faculty at non-Ivy League schools have no chance in most cases, through no fault of their own. But that critical fact is, of course, conveniently overlooked. The rich get richers.
