Tanaka, why are all of your reviews so intent on enhancing the bad? Critics don't always have to berate the material.
Although, for the most part, I will agree with this review. This coming from a Keri Hilson fan.
I agree with a lot of it, but i think most artists first albums are not a great representation of the artist especially if the artist is on someone else's label. i think J records gives their artists more control but Keri obviously just wanted an album and if you look at Chris brown's first album and second one kind of...they had no real stamps of chris brown...beyonce's first album...one or two really good songs are far as substance...I think keri has a dif sound like the song tell him the truth...this is perspective not in most songs on the radio and energy has good lyrics and so does slow dance....I understand maybe people had high expectations but i'm pleased...i think she's gonna blow up and have a real chance to put out her own music
