i like your thoughts - i revel and exult in the fact that we are so hard to faze, displaying only mild interest in even the most sensationalistic stories
Peter, you shouldn't generalize and simplify so much
This is a bad article with little substance or support. Shame on the Prince for publishing this article.
peter zakin--the prince's version of bill kristol?
Um.
So you *want* us to be scared of the terrorists?
Also, everyone is still talking about the economic crisis. Ask a senior.
ANYONE who wants to read a real article on this topic should go here for a brilliant exposition: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2009/jan/10/and...
I'm still surprised that the Prince continues to publish what Peter Zakin writes. It is absolutely astonishing how every single article he writes is terrible. He just continues to ramble and ramble, without ever having a point to his writing. Does he want us to fear the terrorists. Should we not watch the media. Honestly, who cares. And was it worse, everything he is saying is wrong. People weren't bored with the Mumbai crisis. They were shocked. People are still talking about the economic downturn and how it might harm their job prospects. Mr. Zakin needs to understand that his editorials are not just ramblings of a bored student. They should actually have a point.
great article.
